Volunteers for Summer Work Party Needed
We are building
the majority of our playground this summer!
We will be installing a
new play structure, spinning teacups, turning bars, a toss up
basketball hoop, and an X-Wave. We need volunteers to help build! The
equipment will be built on Saturday, July 18, and wood chips need to
be spread on Sunday, July 19. Please contact Stacy Denuski, 425-486-7838 denuski@yahoo.com if you can help!
Childcare for children that are potty trained will be provided on July
18.

Head Start helps
children get ready for school. Our program at Kenmore Elementary is a FREE,
part-day pre-school program for 3 and 4 year olds. To qualify, your family must
meet income guidelines.
If you would like to speak
with someone about our program, please call Barbara Stratton at 425-408-4861. Interpreters are available. Feel
free to leave a message in your home language. Applications are also available
in the Kenmore Elementary school office.

We are currently accepting applications for the on-site Head Start pre-school program for the 2009-2010 school year. This program serves eligible low-income families.
We primarily serve children who are four years old before 8/31/09, but will also accept applications for those turning three before 8/31/09.
Applications are available at Kenmore Elementary. Applicants will need to submit proof of income, immunization record, and birth certificate with the application. For more information call Barbara Stratton at 425-408-4861.

Our PTA is heading Kenmore's Playground Restoration Project.
View the Playground Restoration website to see what is planned
and find out how you can support these efforts!
All donations of at least $100 will be honored by an engraved brick!
Please Buy a Brick for the Playground! We
hope that this fundraiser will raise the remaining $30,000 needed to
install our playground this summer, so please spread the word!
