Welcome to Leota's Health Room ;-)
"Students who are hungry, sick, troubled, or depressed cannot function well in the classroom no matter how good the school."
- Carnegie Council on Adolescence -

Most 9th grade students are due for a Tetanus booster.
Get them the new TDaP (contains Pertussis)!
Welcome the the Leota Health Room

My name is Mary Mathews Bek and I am pleased to be the School Nurse at Leota Junior High for my 11th year.

My goals are threefold: to help keep our student safe and healthy, to manage health problems as they arise, and to be a health resource for our Leota families.

Please keep me informed of any concerns or changes in your child's health.
Be sure that your emergency contact information is up to date and that your contact persons are available .

Feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions you might have.
